The RED DSMC3 RMI Cable measures 39 inches, or approximately 1 meter, giving crews more flexibility when positioning the DSMC3 RED Touch 7.0 inch LCD away from the camera body.
Video Power and Communication
The custom RED Monitor Interface connection supports the monitor signal path through a single cable, carrying video, power, and camera communication in supported DSMC3 configurations.
Custom RED Connection
The USB-C style RMI cable uses a custom pin configuration and is not compatible with standard USB-C ports. Dedicated locking features help reduce accidental disconnection during production.
