Tilta Camera Cage Base Kit for Sony FX5 (Titanium Gray)

Description

Build a more adaptable Sony FX5 rig with the Tilta Camera Cage Base Kit in Titanium Gray. The modular cage adds protection around the camera while keeping buttons, dials, screen functions, and the original XLR handle accessible. Multiple mounting points help organize monitors, microphones, arms, and other production accessories, while the included Xeno handles support steadier handheld and low angle operation.

Tilta Full Camera Cage for Sony FX5

The form fitting cage uses three points of contact to limit twisting and can convert from a full cage to a lighter half cage by removing two bottom screws and the handle side bracket. Reinforced corners add protection during active shooting. NATO rails, a cold shoe receiver, 1/4 inch 20 and 3/8 inch 16 mounting threads expand accessory placement. A bidirectional Arca bottom plate supports quick transitions between compatible tripods and gimbals, while a center positioning point helps reduce gimbal balancing time. A magnetic battery latch adds security without blocking normal camera operation, and a locking video cable clamp helps keep the connected signal cable in place.

Tilta Xeno Top Handle with NATO Mount

The Xeno Top Handle attaches through a NATO clamp for fast rig changes and improved low angle control. Its curved silicone grip provides a secure handhold, while multiple 1/4 inch 20 and 3/8 inch 16 mounting points support accessories such as monitor arms and cable management hardware. A cold shoe receiver adds another mounting location for compatible production accessories.

Tilta Xeno Side Handle with NATO Mount

The Xeno Side Handle can mount on either side of the rig and adjusts vertically by 40 millimeters for a more comfortable operating position. A textured silicone grip supports handheld stability, while the cold shoe receiver and 1/4 inch 20 locating thread provide additional accessory mounting. Together, the cage and handles create a modular FX5 platform that can be adapted for handheld work, tripod use, and gimbal setups.
