Description

The RED V-RAPTOR RF to PL Adapter Pack expands the camera’s native RF mount for PL mount cinema lenses while maintaining electronic communication with supported lenses. The adapter supports Cooke /i lens communication and record triggering, giving production crews a direct way to integrate professional PL glass into compatible V-RAPTOR camera configurations.

Titanium Core and Adjustable Back Focus

A titanium core helps the mount resist changes caused by environmental temperature shifts. The adapter is also shimmable, allowing precise back focus adjustment when a production setup requires calibration. This construction supports consistent lens positioning for demanding cinema workflows.

Added Mount Support

The pack includes 2 V-RAPTOR support brackets that attach above and below the adapter. These brackets add rigidity between the camera body and mount, helping support configurations that use larger or heavier PL lenses. RED recommends using both brackets for correct adapter support.

Purpose Built V-RAPTOR Integration

The RF to PL Adapter installs into the camera’s RF lens mount and provides a dedicated PL mount interface without changing the camera body. This version does not support electronic filters. It is a focused mounting solution for productions that need PL lens compatibility, electronic lens communication, and additional mechanical support.
