Its 19.9 MP Super 35 global shutter CMOS sensor delivers 6144 x 3240 effective pixels and supports REDCODE RAW recording for demanding production and post workflows.
6K Global Shutter Capture
Capture up to 6K 80 fps, 5K 96 fps, 4K 120 fps, or 2K 240 fps. The global shutter exposes the sensor simultaneously across the frame, making the KOMODO-X well suited to motion-intensive production, visual effects, and multi-camera environments. RED specifies 16.5 plus stops of dynamic range for the camera platform.
Locking Nikon Z Mount and Professional Workflow
The integrated locking Nikon Z Mount combines electronic lens communication with the short flange depth of the Z system. The camera records to CFexpress Type B media and supports REDCODE RAW data rates up to 560 MB/s. Integrated Wi-Fi and USB Type C connectivity support camera control, video preview, and media offloading.
Compact Production Body
An aluminum alloy body measures 5.1 inches by 4 inches by 3.8 inches and weighs 2.62 pounds without a body cap or CFexpress card. The integrated V Lock battery interface is optimized for Micro V Lock batteries, while the 2.9-inch touchscreen provides onboard preview and camera control.
