The car key-sized dash cam is nearly invisible on your windshield. The ultra-compact gadget is powered by a slim wire with two routing options – upward or downward, for a neat and discreet installation. Once connected to your vehicle’s power supply, you can simply set and forget it. The camera continuously records and automatically saves video of observed events, including date and time stamps to show when events happened. The built-in Garmin Clarity polarizing lens improvement improves visibility and reduces windshield glare. The Vault allows you to securely share your critical videos. With a paid Vault subscription and Wi-Fi connectivity, you can access recorded video clips on your compatible smartphone via the Garmin Drive app.

The Garmin Drive app allows you to view synchronized video clips from up to four dashcams (each sold separately). The bundled charger contains an extra USB connector, allowing you to power your dash camera, phone, or navigation device. This dash cam can resist tough car settings including bright sunlight and heat. A microSD memory card (available separately) is required for the Dash Cam Mini 3. It supports a card that can store up to 512 GB. Some vehicles will require a Constant Power Cable (available separately) to enable certain capabilities that require continuous power to your device.
