RED DIGITAL CINEMA V-RAPTOR Tactical Top Plate with Battery Adapter Plus (V-Mount)

Description

The RED Digital Cinema V-RAPTOR Top Plate with Battery Adapter Plus V-Lock expands camera rigging and power options while providing secure support for larger V-Lock batteries. The system combines a top mounting platform with a rear battery adapter, giving production crews additional attachment points and powered connections without separating these functions across multiple rig components.

Expanded Power Connections

The Battery Adapter Plus adds an integrated DC input that can power the camera and connected accessories from an external DC source. A D Tap connection and two 2-pin auxiliary power outputs provide additional options for compatible production accessories. The top plate also incorporates a pogo connection system that interfaces directly with the battery adapter, while the V-Lock configuration supports SMBus pass-through.

Flexible Camera Rigging

Multiple 3/8-16 and 1/4-20 mounting threads provide attachment points for compatible camera accessories. An assistant side LED adds a practical light source to the rig. The front mounting plate provides additional threaded positions and supports compatible V-RAPTOR accessories such as the Top Handle and Extensions, DSMC3 RED Touch 7.0-inch LCD, Outrigger Handle, and DSMC3 Adapter A.

The included battery support bracket can provide additional physical support when used with a compatible rear Arca plate. Together, the mounting platform, V-Lock battery adapter, power connections, and accessory mounting points create a more production-focused V-RAPTOR configuration for studio, cinema, and broadcast workflows.
