Borrowed from Sonys a7R V and a7CR, the RX1R IIIs 61MP full-frame sensor delivers ultra-high resolution, exceptional clarity, low noise, and a broad 15-stop dynamic range. The backside-illuminated design and copper wiring allow faster data transfer, supporting rich 14-bit raw output and ISO performance from 100 to 32,000.

The BIONZ XR image processor enhances performance up to 8x over its predecessor, enabling faster autofocus, advanced AI-powered processing, better dynamic range, and significantly reduced rolling shutter effects.

Next-Gen Autofocus with AI Precision

Sonys dedicated AI Processing Unit supercharges subject recognition and real-time tracking:
